Each registered mint has one Reserve at ["reserve", mint] and one share mint at ["share_mint", mint].

Balances that matter

Field	Meaning
`accounted_liquidity_assets`	Cash credited by measured transfers
`total_borrow_assets`	Outstanding principal + accrued interest
`total_borrow_shares`	Sum of borrower shares
`accrued_protocol_fees`	Reserve-factor slice, not lender equity
`borrow_index_wad`	Cumulative borrow growth

lender_total_assets = accounted_liquidity + total_borrow − protocol_fees
available_cash      = accounted_liquidity − protocol_fees
utilization         = borrows / (cash + borrows)

Unsolicited transfers into the liquidity vault do not increase accounted_liquidity_assets. They cannot inflate vToken value.

Status and modes

Reserves have their own status. The protocol also has Normal, BorrowPaused, WithdrawOnly, and Halted. New borrows respect both. Repay and liquidation stay available unless the specific gate says otherwise. See Interest Rate Model.
